Schultek E&T introduces Aqua-Therma Power Pack and Radiant Panel product:  A new type of multi-use tool providing safe, portable, aqua heat to be crowd-funded via Indiegogo.com

Auburn, CA, June 10, 2013 – Schultek E&T aims to fill a market need by introducing the Aqua-Therma Power Pack and Radiant Panel system.  It is a unique, multi-use tool which provides safe, portable heat by circulating heated water that can be used for numerous applications.  Applications include snow melting, soil warming, greenhouse heating, seed germination, animal health and comfort, water trough de-ice, heating water pipes, shop use and other appropriate applications.

The Aqua-Therma Power Pack may be connected to numerous Radiant Panels or else to a simple circuit of bare plastic (Polyethylene) tubing to deliver liquid heat to an application.  Aqua-Therma Radiant Panels are specially engineered semi-flexible panel mats that deliver warm, radiant heat provided from warm/hot water which flows through the panels.  The Radiant Panels are currently offered in 2' x 5' size.  Additional sizes and shapes will follow.  Numerous panels can be connected (in parallel) to provide heat over large areas.

This is a unique, very useful and very safe product.  The 1500 Watt Power Pack warms water (or anti-freeze mixture) in a 4 gallon storage tank to desired temperature (digitally controlled, up to 150 degrees F). A motor-pump circulates the water through flexible tubing or specially-engineered Radiant Panels, providing radiant heat to any desired application.  The system works as a closed-circuit fluid system, with water returning to the storage tank for reheat and recirculation.  The entire system is self-contained and portable. It requires only a standard 120 volt, 15 amp electrical outlet for power.  The water simply acts as a "working fluid" in the system, transporting safe heat from the tank to any desired application.

Schultek is targeting several niche markets with the Aqua-Therma product line.  This initial product primarily addresses home and small business needs.  Market niches include snow removal; greenhouse heating; gardening; livestock nursery, heated shelter and animal care; shop use and manufacturing.

You can see and order this new product at Indiegogo.com, a popular crowd-funding site, through July 12, 2013.  See http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/aqua-therma-safe-portable-aqua-heat-a-multi-use-system/x/3460772 .  After that date, visit the company web site at www.schultek.com .

"As a privately held small business, Indiegogo allows us a unique opportunity to garner the critical mass of startup funds to properly launch this new product,” says Ed Schultheis, Schultek CEO.  “The Aqua-Therma system fills an unmet product need.  To date, it is the only portable hydronic system on the market, utilizing recirculating water (or an antifreeze mixture); to provide safe heat for desired applications.  It can be implemented quickly and requires only a standard 120 volt, 15 amp electrical circuit for power.  Since it has a multiple uses, cost of ownership over time is quite low.”

The Aqua-Therma Power Pack and Radiant Panel products will begin shipping during October 2013.  Orders should be placed through the Indiegogo launch site through July 12, 2013.  After that date, orders will be accepted through the company web site at www.schultek.com .
